American Patriot Part 1 - Free For a Limited Time

I hope everyone in the United States enjoyed the Memorial Day long weekend. It is now (unofficially) summer in the northern hemisphere!! Originally called Decoration Day, the purpose of Memorial Day is to honor those men and women who died while serving in the military. In that spirit I am working on a kit called American Patriot.  Part 1 of American Patriot is now available as a free mini-kit. (Look for part 2 on or about July 4th). What you get are 5 full sized (12x12 inch) papers and 10 elements: a frame, a ribbon, a length of ric-rac, a bow, a leaf group, a flower, a puffed star, a folded paper butterfly, a wooden cross and a star scatter. The kit was created at 300 ppi so that any layouts made with it are suitable for printing. And here is the preview.

If you like the kit, you can download here from 4shared. (Sorry - freebie retired)

  2. Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in CBH Digital Scrapbooking Freebies, under the Page 1 post on May. 31, 2011. Thanks again.

  3. Thanks for the red, white and blue! I love it that the colors are 'in the face' red, white and blue! I love that you used a more muted palette! Thanks for sharing! I appreciate your generosity!

  4. Hee! Hee! I meant I love it that the colors ARE NOT 'in the face' red, white and blue! Sometimes patriotic kits are very bright and I love that you went with a variation! Thanks!

Somedays my fingers don't type what my mind wants to say! :-)

  5. I just found your blog today and really like your stuff! I am sad that I missed this little gem, I thought I'd use it to scrap a LO for a challenge at theStudio, any chance you'd repost the link for me?? Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us :D
